With reference to the Traders2Traders.com initiative to allow uploading and
downloading (thanks to Colin West and friends).
Since I was the one to suggest we would all "throw" in some data, I took the
time to upload Nasdaq and S&P 1 minute ascii files. (you really appreciate
ADSL on these occasions)
===>>> structure
Main folders:
DATA
PROGRAM
Sub folders
PROGRAM\TRADESTATION
Sub folders:
DATA\FUTURE
DATA\INDEX
DATA\STOCK
Only for futures:
DATA\FUTURE\Nasdaq\Contracts
DATA\FUTURE\Nasdaq\Continuous <<== now has data
DATA\FUTURE\S&P\Contracts
DATA\FUTURE\S&P\Continuous <<== now has data
File name conventions (suggested):
Futures:
SYMBOL_TIMEFRAME_FUTSORT_ADJSORT_STARTDATE_ENDATE_FORMAT.ZIP (always ZIP
ascii files to save space!)
Stocks
SYMBOL_TIMEFRAME_STARTDATE_ENDATE_FORMAT.ZIP (always ZIP ascii files to save
space!)
FUTSORT can be Cont (for continous) or balnk for non
ADJSORT can be Adj (for adjusted), NAdj (for not adjusted)
etc.

I uploaded 1 MINUTE bars for Nasdaq Futures from Oct 23 1997 through August
17 2001 (appr. 12 MB ascii .TXT file)
ND_1MIN_CONT_ADJ_19971023_20010817_TXT.ZIP
ND_1MIN_CONT_NADJ_19971023_20010817_TXT.ZIP
I uploaded 1 MINUTE bars for Nasdaq Futures from Sep 1, 1989 (!!) through
August 17 2001 (appr. 50 MB ascii .TXT file)
SP_1MIN_CONT_ADJ_19890901_20010817_TXT.ZIP
SP_1MIN_CONT_NADJ_19890901_20010817_TXT.ZIP
I do not believe that anybody can claim "copyrights" to historic ascii so it
should be save to upload.
QUESTION:
Dan and Bob were nice enough to send me ADV/DECL data but when I import into
my TS2000i (selecting server 4.0 data) it shows no symbols that can be
imported.
What do I do wrong, how else can I import .omz file into TS2000i ?
