Gladly.
The new parallel port (LPT2) wasn't working right. The technician (who stands
behind his work) went through all the steps I had gone through, got all the same
error messages, and then decided to install a different card. Now the HP600
printer finally recognizes the LPT2 and runs just like it did before on LPT1.
The dongle sits happily on LPT1 and allows me into TS4 so I can FINALLY!!! start
learning how to use it.
All's well that ends wells, I s'ppose.
