I don't need to download it. I have it but don't use it. (With M$, you
really can't avoid it.) :-)

The price is, ultimately, higher than you think. :-)

Not necessarily. There are tools that produce generic code, but M$
tries hard to keep people from using them.

Of course not. I'd prefer that he used generic code that would work
with any browser.

Not so. In the end, we will all benefit a lot from competition to M$.
I was pointing out that going the M$ route FORCES people into the
M$-only camp. I believe this is appropriate for a public message - the
more people who know about the problem and possible solutions, the
better.

Not impossible at all, but I'd be happier if generic code was used.
This would also cause the fewest problems and give the widest
audience. Not bad goals, IMHO. What do you think?
