Hello Traders,
TS> It seems Mark you think too bad about us:)
the web site is vague, sorry. so i would be able to get ascii data
from a vendor for many commodities. that data would be saved in
separate files for each commodity. the your program could be set up
to read that directory and convert all the data found. using a global
setting for the symbols? that would be great.
how would it handle different multipliers, sessions times and all of
that for different commodities? could you have many different
conversion sets and have them all run one after the other? just
wondering how this would work. for me it has to be something that
could be set up to run by itself. which brings me to the next
question, can it run by command line?
TS> Of course all information about symbol, exchange, instrument category etc
TS> can be stored to file named "conversion set".
TS> It is possible for you to convert files with many symbols in it, many files
TS> with many symbols in each and "pack" all ticks to one OMZ.
