Hello Mark,

MC> The whole thing is such a mystery and I love a mystery.

i have to be careful - but i never am so what the hell. i will offer
some of the following "HYPOTHETICAL'S" and you can choose the ones or
all that you wish to belive.

it could be that they were backed into a corner and could not deliver
as promised as far as the advanced mathematical mumbo jumbo is
concerned. it could be that they sold on the image and persona of
having some mystical fft thingy (or pick anything) that would cure all
market cancer.

it could be that the cult following belive's that this shit does exist
and that tl wishes to now have a change of heart about making good on
the delivery promised because tl is using the shit to make so much
money that they need to have a web design sideline business to make a
living?

it could be that this old farts club that kept this dream alive had
ample warning from some people that tl was just a pied piper who was a
sad case and really had nothing but some friendship to offer for sale.

it could be that no one wants to talk about it because they were
threatened with a law suite if they did. it could be that they will
have to hide in the shadows for the rest of their life wondering if
their phone is tapped or their emails intercepted and subjected to
review before being sent to their intended recipient?

it could be that everyone is now blaming this and other list for the
demise of the software. you know how that bad talk can effect
someone's coding skills not to mention if the holy of holy mystical
thingy got out it could wreak havoc on the markets and mankind.

it could be that tl preyed upon the fears of some traders by making
them belive that the markets could only be tamed through super duper
scientific methods that a common man has no business knowing about.
like a mensa membership, reserved for snobs only, i mean those of
higher understanding.

it could be that so much time was spent putting together impressive
amounts of documentation that became more important than the product
itself. anyway just some hypothetical notions that can be pondered
upon while i sip my ice tea.
