Thanks to all who responded, though apparently some traders were 
unaware of any problem.

If I give the impression that my problem was with IB, let me correct 
that. I was trading with Lind Waldock on April 11. I am merely 
looking at IB as a possible alternative and wondered about their 
lack of back up.
