Bob,
Could you enlighten us by explaining what is the "p" process codes?
(Also, I know that If delete all these files it will take about 1 hour for
my GS to open properly)

Except that the symswap.dat contains the "P" process codes and that may
require the one to two day wait to rebuild those depending on the data
supplier such as DTN. Not true with esignal, I believe.
