Gibson's site is a good start, and it's excellent for educational
purposes. But his tests are minimal. He only tests about 6-8 ports.
The DSLreports test at http://www.secure-me.net or
http://www.dslreports.com/secureme offers a much more complete test.
Their free scan checks more ports than Gibson's test (at least it
used to, but it doesn't seem to cover quite as much as it used to?).
For a modest fee ($10 for a 1-week license, $39? for a year) you can
get more extensive tests. License holders also jump to the head of
the scan queue. Well worth it IMHO.
DSLreports also has a quickie freebie scan at
http://www.dslreports.com/scan
BTW, DSLreports uses different terminology than Gibson. What Gibson
calls "Stealth," they call "Filtered."
