I use Win98 with 2 separate cards/2 monitors on 2 PC's no problem. There is
a bit of usability issue when you maximise the window but it's still an
advantage in my opinion.
Where I find it useful is to have Easylanguage running on one monitor and
TS2000i on the other. As you program code you can see the results without
pulling windows infront of each other.
Actually my set-up seems quite user friendly.
I have 2 PC's (networked) both with 2 graphics cards/monitors. On one
machine I run TS2000i with real-time data feed for stocks and futures on the
other machine I run email and real-time order entry for both stocks and
futures and EOD data download software. Therefore when I'm day trading I see
Tradestation 2000i across 2 monitors, maybe with 5min/30min/60min and daily
charts + my indicators and on the other 2 monitors I see stock order
information/market depth/order execution/news and the same for futures
(minus market depth) + email.
The downside is you need 2 heads to watch it all!
