Tech support told me that either the etherlink port or the RS232 port would
work, but not both simultaneously. Reason was the receiver tests for a NIC
when it is turned on. If it finds one then that is the port that is
enabled, if not then the rs232 is enabled. They are going to run at
different speeds and perhaps some communication requirements would prohibit
the two from operating simultaneously.
