The $50 fee is only if you switch to the new receiver before your
annual contract ends.

Another problem is a 1-meter dish is about 77% larger in area than a
.75 meter dish so it is more obvious to neighbors. Someone on the
Realtraders list posted on Tuesday that the existing LNB for the 8000
receiver can be rotated 90 degrees for the 8080 receiver - so it's
possible the existing dish can be used.

I read one advantage of GE1 is that it is close enough to GE2 that a
dish with a single LNB can receive signals from both satellites.
Perhaps that's why a 1-meter dish is suggested.

BTW the Shipping and Handling is $59 on DTN's web-page, not the $69 in
the letter.
