Steve - The last Omega product I used was TS 4.0. I still use it
occasionally until TradeLab's backtesting capabilities are finished beta
testing. I do not own TS2ki so I couldn't personally make a comparison.
The first thing I would suggest you do is to spend some time at the TradeLab
website. It goes into features in lots of detail. Then I would download
the four TradeLab help files, which are available for free. Again, there is
a tremendous amount of information there. I think you will agree there are
lots of differences. Bob Brickey, TradeLab's primary developer, recently
made an applicable comment on the TradeLab list and I am coping it
immediately following.

Thanks for your comments. The TradeLab design was aimed primarily at the
needs of those who, either because of practical trading experience,
intelligence or both, know that the naive methods used by most traders and
supported by most trading software don't work. TradeLab can be used by
traders expecting to win with those methods, just as other trading software
can be. The difference is that after losing a lot of money with naive
methods a TradeLab user can advance to more sophisticated methods without
having to invest in new software.

Jim, I guess what most traders would like to know, is what can TL do that
TS2ki cannot do ? (other than fancy cosmetics)
