always looking for a better tool.
however... we have to be objective
why is it that there is no system testing capability in there?
what good does it do if you can't test systems on it?
if i wanted a fancy toolbox i'd use matlab or s-plus and bloomberg.

it would be nice if someone fills the gap as far as a VB
system toolbox but again... time flies... look at TW and TS
by the time they came out with their updated toolboxes
the market ran away. people demand a free toolbox now
and only want to pay for commissions.
a VB programmer can make more money programming
than trading... stress free and risk free...
institutions will never use stuff like TS or
TW or TL... it's called the retail domain...

TL,
no data on demand, i have to manage my own database
in usmd from scratch??? oh my oh my... there is no support
for tick data... means i have to compile my own database
for testing... there is no filtering ...

i'd say they have about 1 in 10 chance that they make money
in this business... they can probably find about 100 hard core
retail VB system traders in the world. that's about 200K market ...

it's all about the survival of the fittest...
let the them compete for the best product and lowest cost...
we just pick the best
bilo.
ps. if they would plug in data on demand in there... ( e-signal has it )
update their icons to at least a cool look circa 1995... include data
filtering... system testing capability... link to MS VB design tool
they do have a chance...
