TS100 SP4c test

The list has been quiet about TS100 problems lately, so I thought I'd take
a look at it. In the past, for TS4, few complaints here were a good
indicator that the software might be ready for use, so...

I did a clean install of SP3, on NT4/SP6, with an immediate upgrade to
TS100 SP4c. NO older material was used in or transferred to the new
install. Seemed like a fair test.

NOTE - THIS IS **OFFLINE** TESTING ONLY, not real-time.

On the good side, several "crashers" seemed to have been fixed. I've had a
few crashes, with the most common ones occurring in closing TS100,
especially after clicking YES to save all. I have been using a few
multi-data charts, and these did not cause crashes either, at least, not
yet (they were intermittent before).

Impression: several crashers fixed, but not all.

The 'non-crasher' category is not that different, at least among the
things I have looked at. TS100 still does not update the screen correctly
(wrong colors, studies not updated corectly, pointers do not change, etc,
etc...). Settings in several places do not seem to be retained (eg:
position info in strategies), the editor hangs when there is an extra
bracket, editor adds 2 extra lines when importing 'ASCII' templates, and
many other annoyances. Some, like the extra 2 lines added, seem to be new,
but most were there before and are still there.

Impression: many non-crashers are still there.

When TS4 got to about build 17 or so, it was reasonably ready to go. We
are at SP4c (~= build 7??). Maybe by SP7c, assuming they continue the
a,b,c's, it will be reasonably bug *and* annoyance free, as was TS4?

I don't think I'll go real-time yet...

Anyone know if SP5 is another 'new' reinstall, with no carry-over? If so,
I won't put much development effort in SP4c. PITA to do so many things
over, and over, and over again.
