In ts4, right click on the screen with a page of the appropriate symbol
loaded, click "edit price data" and you get the total number of ticks for
the day at the bottom of the edit tick data window. In ts5, just double
click on the symbol in the server symbol list, then "edit data" and "load
data". There may be a more simple way in ts5 that I am not as familiar
with.
