Jim,
This is normal for TS4.0. The 40bonn.dat file just
grows and grows.
You can rebuild the 40bonn.dat file to save some
space.
While it will be smaller,it may not reduce its size by
huge amounts. The amount of space saved depends on
number of symbols, # days to collect settings, etc...I
rebuild once a year or so.
1. Backup your server directory.
2.From the offline server, Copy Out ALL of your data
daily & intraday from the server to a .omz file. Make
sure the start date used is early enough to copy all
of your data. Once this is done, close the server.
3.Rename your 40bonn.dat file 40bonn.old.
4. Restart the offline server and TS will recreate the
40bonn.dat file without any data in it. You can then
Autopaste in your .omz data file back into the offline
server.
