Well, thanks, but I have no time for the moment, and I'll stick with my current RT environment that is
TS4, TS2000 soon with SP Comstock Xpress feed, and have no intention to move to VB at this time.
I also have now to get the money back from 12 years of work, and please unerstand not by selling the
neurofuzzy thing only, but using it on a wide, wider scale.
More, developing third party software is of interest when the platform has been established in
its market niche, that is not yet the case as for today.
We also need some serious demand from the customers before deciding anything in this sense.
That's aside, I only wanted to point out that changing from a basher to a developer is not so easy,
and that you will fall into the same trap that you were so fast to expose inthe past regarding to Omega.
This does not mean that TW will not be ( is not) a good product. Nothing to do with this.
An other reason why I do not want for the moment go into new TS like software is that I'm sure, more than sure,
that the future of technical analysis is not in hand coding systems even in a very powerful software
It still hand coding, EL or VB, no difference to me.
The main error is to believe that the genius idea will come with better software, VB , doublep recision and multi systems backtest:
This does not solve the main problem that is to find the idea ( coding is a trivial task that does not involve genius, only pa
ctical experience).
Since Wilder's era (who used a HP programmable calculator), the only progress that has been made was to use the PC
to write fsater code , more complex code and collect data). But it's still a big HP hand calculator, where speed is the main noticeable progress.
The future is in AI software, and programs like TS or TW are now, to me the external trivial part of the project that computes the indicators
and collect the data.
I'm now able to let in write in minutes and test so complex systems that works better than anything that could take weeks of reaserch
without having to write a single line of EL /VB code ,making to me the software battle a definitive past history.
I was glad to have EL to code the internal general mechanics and C DLL's for the rest of the engine.
Now that it's done, the user point of view is a trivial one too, and the merit has to be attributed to the AI software, not to the platform
that becames indifferent to the result if it works as expected.
