MB Trading recently extended their after-hours trading from 8am to 8pm. Not
sure which ECN's are available during those hours. Their accounting
sucks....bigtime.

Yes, the customer doesn't need a terminal but as you said he/she still needs
to go through a broker. I see your point, but I think my associate was
stating that in order for the retail side (the customer) to trade afterhours
with Instinet, they will need to wait until this deal with E Trade comes
into
