RE: how to import a custom symbol list

Sounds like a problem similar to mine. I have tick data in a file,
continaing about 500 stock symbols. I would like to import these into TS2K,
without importing 500 ASCII files. I only have an evaluation copy of
Tradestation, and an important part of the evaluation is if I can get my
tick data into Tradestation (they are not realtime, so the input does not
have to be realtime).

If I only knew the format for omz or xpo files, I could probably convert the
data to them, and then import them. If I knew how to communicate with the
globalserver datafeed input functions, maybe I could get it in that way.

Is there anyone that can direct me to information that gives me enough
knowledge to get the data into Tradestation?

Subject: how to import a custom symbol list

Hi,

Is it possible to import a custom symbol list (about 3000 stocks) into the
server in TS2K? I searched thru the online help but it gave no
suggestions..... I would hate to type them in one by one....

Thanks,

Gabe
