Of course guns can lead to violent death!  That's what guns are for.  But,
criminals will always have access to them, and mentally disturbed people
will always have access to them, and the gov't will a l w a y s have access
to them, so why shouldn't law abiding citizens of this country continue to
have access?  I say, the more law abiding citizens with access, the fewer
violent acts by the others with access.  I think the statistics bear this
out.
