     Company is Using Direct E-Mail, Direct Mailers and a National
       Tour of Product Seminars to Promote 2000i Line of Products
                          to its Customer Base

     Omega Research, Inc. (NASDAQ:OMGA) has commenced a direct
marketing campaign to encourage owners of the 16-bit versions of its
premium products to upgrade to the Company's recently-released 2000i
line, which are 32-bit applications that feature notable technological
advancements, new functionality, increased ease-of-use and
"Internet-centric" capabilities. The Company's 2000i line, which was
released in February of this year, includes TradeStation 2000i,
RadarScreen 2000i, OptionStation 2000i, and Omega Research ProSuite
2000i (an integrated suite of those three products).
     The marketing campaign includes direct e-mail to existing
customers, direct mailers to existing customers, and a national
10-city tour of product seminars at which the Company will demonstrate
the 2000i line to Omega Research product user groups and other
interested persons.
     As previously reported, the Company has already sold thousands of
upgrades to the 2000i line to its customer base, even though it has
not begun its direct marketing campaign until now.
     Omega Research's 2000i line of software products is compatible
with the following real-time Internet and broadcast data services:
Data Broadcasting Corporation's (NASDAQ:DBCC) Signal Online
(Internet), StockEdge Online (Internet), InSite (Internet), DBC Signal
(Broadcast) and BMI (Broadcast); Data Transmission Network
Corporation's (NASDAQ:DTLN) DTN Real Time and DTNstant (Broadcast);
and PC Quote, Inc.'s (AMEX:PQT) Hyperfeed(TM) (Internet and
Broadcast). Agreements are also in place to add, later this year, as
compatible real-time data services, FutureSource Information Systems,
Inc.'s MDS network and stand-alone datafeeds, and Standard & Poor's
ComStock's Xpressfeed(TM). The products also enable the user to access
through the Internet, with a click of the mouse, the online brokerage
services of E*TRADE (NASDAQ:EGRP) and Wall Street Access.
