John, with Futures magazine leading the way to self regulate- some of the
content of misleading vendors. S&C will be hard pressed to find someone who
can walk the fine line between honesty and advertising dollars. With the
advent of the internet, the rate that knowledge of the wrong doings of these
vendors spreads fast. It is the most interesting thing to me that it never
fails if someone is interviewed by S&C there is"ALWAYS" an ad for that
persons services in the same issue. Now why is that? Doesn't S&C ever do
interviews just because they want to inform their readers? No! what we read
is directly influenced by the advertising dollars spent by the pollutant.
If S&C were to start writing and accepting articles based on how valuable
that article would be to its readers bottom line. Then you would be doing a
real service to the subscribers. Instead all S&C seems to be interested in
doing is servicing the needs of the advertisers.

Call _fill in the blank here_ I'm sure one of their advertising staff will
be interested in taking the job.
