stock data paste in prob.

notes: machine has been 'scan-disked' and 'defraged' and all 'tmp' files
deleted on a regular basis.

i am experiencing problems during the 'paste in' process of stock data
[obtained from the omega ftp site] into the off-line server.

the problem only occurs with Stock data.

it does not occur with Index or Futures data.

when i attempt to 'custom paste' stock data into the off-line server, the
server proceeds to 'read' the 'dat' file.

however, it never completes the process and it never allows the pasting in
of individual stocks.  it just spins and spins endlessly [i.e., it gets hung
up].

the only remedy to this problem is to hit ctrl-alt-delete and manually 'end
task' the off-line server because it is 'not responding.''
