I only trade the OEX options short term, however I ran statistics some
time ago on all my trades for about a year or two using the Kelly
system. I think Kelly is the correct name for the phone company man
that the gamblers borrowed his formula to control their bet size.
Simply increase your bet by 60% if you win each time and go back to the
original amount if you loose. There was a significant improvement in my
return over several hundred trades. Unfortunately my real world
bankroll and fortitude preclude putting this system into action.
Has anyone else had success with it? Or what do you do that works for
you?
