There were no stock data posted on your ftp site for May 13. 14,
and 17 due to problems with your BMI collection machine. For May
19, there was a gap between 1:30 and 4pm due to a storm in the
Miami area. Should not have happened but at least you gave a reason.
However, what is the reason for posting drastically reduced data files
-- 50% smaller in size, with correspondingly reduced number of ticks
for each symbol -- for May 18 and 20? (On average day, the size of
the Nasdaq.omz file is about 3.5MB, on the two days in question the
size was 2.1MB and 2.2MB, respectively. The similar drop also applies
to the NYSE stock files.)
I would appreciate your response to the following questions:
1) Are you collecting stock data from the Signal feed and posting them
as BMI data? If not, can you explain the 50% drop in the number of ticks?
2) Are you going to make available the complete stock data again?
If so, when.
