angle and slope, ADX(7) vs ADX(14), Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average.
Tushar Chande has two books and each has examples of variations he has
developed. I use his RAVI indicator a lot as an exit signal in for day
trading. He also demonstrates some trading systems that adapt to the
market's trendiness.
