TS2000 in Perspective?

There seem to be many of you who continue to defend the wrong of posting
private & confidential information because of the wrong that Omega has done
to you in releasing "buggy" software.

I had a similar experience as a Nirvana OmniTrader user when they released
version 3.0 from 2.5. It was buggy and unusable. I couldn't get through to
technical support and emails went unanswered for weeks. I understand this
type of frustration. After 30 days I returned the product.

The current release of TS2000 is similar in having bugs and in being
borderline unusable (I am able, but I am only an EOD user). However, I will
say that I have gotten roughly 24 hour responses to every one of over a
dozen emails to technical support. For this reason, I'll hang in there. My
experience suggests that this is characteristic of the nature of a small
software company trying to release a demanding application to a relatively
small customer base. I wish it could be perfect, too, but I'll settle for
replies from technical support and a service pack. Soon, I hope.

So, back to the post of the internal memo -- I would suggest that a more
appropriate response to a dissatisfaction with Omega would be to return the
product rather than post copies of their internal memos. Surely reasonable
people understand that internal memos can easily be taken out of context.
This obvious fact makes it seem like it was posted more to defame or fto
avenge someone's anger/frustration rather than to disseminate legitimate
information.
