With all due respect, it is clear whose confidence you value more. You
are right that "trust is trust." Vendors trust customers to not share
software, not copy software, pay as promised, etc, etc., etc. And
customers trust vendors to deliver what they promise... software that
functions as promised. Expecting only one party to honor this
"contract" and play by the rules shows who you really value.
That's OK, as long as I know who's side you are on before I choose to do
business with you or believe what you say.
A prospective vendor should probably be very careful about "trusting" MB
in an issue that pits a vendor's interests against the customer. I, as
a customer, would rather trust what MB tells me.
