Robert,

I absolutely do want this information released. It is my strongest
opinion that information of this type does belong in the hands of the
users. UT it is not my position to do so.

If someone asks me not to release information, especially if I signed an
agreement NOT to disclose it, then it is my ethical obligation NOT to
discuss it.

Have you ever been asked to keep a secret? Have you ever kept a secret?
Have you ever violated one? Are you one who crosses his fingers when he
swears an oath? There is not a lot of grey here, it is pretty black and white.

If you receive by accident a fax with sensitive information, including a
disclaimer asking you to destroy it if mis-delivered, would you share the
information?

If you intercept some ones personal discussion of family problems, would
you post it to the web?

Ethics. This basic issue, and the lack of same, is one of the problems
with some contributors to this list.

Think about it - seriously. Anyone who has any doubt on this issue -
well, go discuss the issue with your minister, a scout leader or someone
else whose opinion you respect.
