Netzero is indeed a free ISP. With the way I understand it, when you sign up
for an account you also agree to have a small window (2" x 2" or something
close) on your desktop that is advertising and is updated as well. I believe
you can move the window around on your desktop but you cannot close it.
Still, it's a great deal for free service.
