I was very puzzled by the same thing. No mention of BMI, except after the install, where the BMI sub-server was correctly identified after I installed the Signal s/w.

Still, I couldn't get the Global Server to communicate with the Data Manager.

After drifting around for a while on the Omega Site, I read that one should ensure that the Market Center Platinum Software runs properly first. So I downloaded and installed that. But I couldn't get Market Center to work with the Data Manager.

I had read something on the Omega site about the programs communicating with TCP/IP. Since this machine has never been set up for the Internet it was missing that protocol, so I went to Control Panel/Networking and installed TCP/IP.

Hooray, the Market Center Software started working. :-) It was like magic.

The bad news is the Omega Global Server is still not connecting. I have two symbols: MSFT and DELL, in the Portfolio list and under RT Status, they show as "Not Connected". When I go to the "Performance" Tab in the GlobalServer, it shows my DataFeed as BMI, and the Connect Status as Initialized, but I'm getting no quotes. Now the market is closed, so things might be quiet anyway.

I've tried adding the Test Symbol "BTC2IF", but Market Center won't accept it, and GlobalServer won't connect it.

I dunno.

Now waiting to get through to Omega Tech Support. Thought I might ask for hints from this list while I wait.

Thanks if anyone can help.
