I have office 2000 beta on my backup portable TS 2000i and the Global
Server will not install unless you
rename a whole bunch of DLLs obdctrac.dll obdcint.dll obccr32.dll
ds16gt.dll obdccp32.dll
odcad32.exe (yes .exe) odcad32.dll
there are more but my find files / folders does not have the memory for the
rest
you have to delete the files in the tem directory which have the same name
you have to rename .DLL to .old
then reinstall TS2000i and IT WILL WORK
IF IT DOES NOT THEN CALL IOMEGA
They gave me the instructions and work around and IT DID WORK!!!!!!!
I am now downloading the updates to Historybank.com It takes a LONG time
using ISDN and a 33.6 on my
backup computer
hope this is of some aid
and
DO NOT INSTALL ANY BETA'S FROM MICROSOFT!!!!!
IT WILL ONLY CAUSE TROUBLES
AND YOU WILL WASTE A LOT OF TIME
THE I.E. 5.0 BETA TRASHED MY MAIN MACHINE
