I have spent 12 hours trying to install and run
ProSuite 2000. The GlobalServer crashes about half
way through the load of data from the CDROM.
Sometimes, I will make it all the way through,
then the GlobalServer will crash during the
internet update. I have never completed either.
I get an invalid page fault, module unknown,
with a stack trace, or my system will
completely hang and have to be hard reset.
You can't kill the server.
Forgetting the GlobalServer, it crashes just trying to
bring up an empty chart window. Now I can bring up
the global server, but the TS2000i application now
will not even launch. The error is a VxD Cache error.
I have reinstalled it 5 times from scratch using different
options - no go.
This is on a system that has been running TS RT build
21 for months without problems, that I use everyday,
without problems running many other applications.
