In fact I have even called GM to find out if there is a date embedded in the
flash BIOS of the computers used in their cars, that might fail Y2K.
They refused to answer, or even tell me if my vehicles would start after
13/31/99.

AFAIK, General Motors does not even guarantee their cars will start or run
after 12/31/99.
