Brian's right. Each application is different and independent.
Saying "why don't they apply the TS4 Y2K fix to other apps" is sort
of like saying "Chevy came out with a new engine for the Corvette,
why don't they offer it for their pickup trucks?" They're different
beasts, and a fix that works in one can't just be dropped into
another.
