And for good reason - some security systems make a "fingerprint" of the
computer.  If you change *anything* in this fingerprint (hard disk, some
hidden files [that may not be restored in exactly the right place with a
backup/restore], bios upgrade, video, etc) TS will not likely work again
unless you go through some verification procedure by calling Omega.  The
more items in the fingerprint, the more secure the installation, but the
more likely it is that small changes will cause it to not work. 

Given Omega's paranoia and lack of concern for causing problems for users,
they might have as many items in the fingerprint as possible. 

They seem to do this on the blocks, too, by requiring a call to "tweak"
the security software to work properly.  I have other blocks that work
fine without this tweak. They just want to make sure you have to call to 
get it working.  

And if you might need a second "mirror" machine as backup while the first
one is repaired - well - forget it! 

Moral: don't do *anything* to your computer over a weekend when Omega is
not working - it may disable TS when data starts coming in.
