Not exactly.
It implies that those people are stupid if they do not want to consider the
benefits of upgrading to TS2000, only under the light of the yk2 problem cost
or avialability..
If some people think that, by principle, the patch must exist for TS4 and that
they will stay with TS4 patched because they need this and they consider that
it's their best choice for trading, why not ?

I for one would never consider the problem under such obscure light.

I have always tried to upgrade to the latest technology available, and in this
case, knowing what TS2000 is vs TS4 patched, my first action will be to remove
any TS4 copy from any machine as soon as TS2000 will be available.
I plan to run TS4 for a while only on one machine and only to ensure technical
support for my customers and for a limited transition period.

The real factor is to trade under the best conditions.
Trading is a serious business and a difficult task that you can only afford by
being hgh skilled ( remember that I'm a 100% systematic trader).

Any consideration besides is not valid, upgrade costs being the worst and less
adapted to solve this general problem.
My opinion is that if you are ( please read " someone") taking in account the
price of the upgrade vs the cost of lack of performance by using a limited
technology like TS4 is vs TS2000, I really think that you have missed the
point.

If really it's a money problem, you should consider abandoning trading. You
will never succeed if a $500 expense is so painful to your account.

I have spend a lot of money and time to give myself the edge that I felt
necessary to me.
You may agree or disagree, but I never regret this.
This is also the reason why I have certainly progressed because the
limitations that I encountered over time and that were painful to accept were
more those related to myself than to the money that I may have spent for
nothing.
Experience is at this cost and this is the only hint that I can give you for
free.
What you will do wit it after is your only problem.

Omega announced some months ago that the upgrade cost should be around $500
( I do not remember if it was $495 or $595, but I believe $495).
This appy to TS4 users only, as versions below will not be patched.
They probably will do a degressive upgrading pricing like they previously did
from TS 3.5 toTS4, but 'm not sure.

You will see...
