The upgrade price is, purportedly, $495. That's $495 more
than the patch but considering the plethora of enhancements
it's by no means out of line, IMHO.

Equis, for example, offered an MS Pro upgrade to current MS
users for $99. From what I've been able to discern, RT
capability is the only significant difference between 6.5
and MS Pro. The latter contains neither a news module nor
quote windows.

WRT the learning curve between TS4 and 5, it's not very
steep. I've found TS5 to be rather intuitive.......easy to
use, in fact, and I'm far from being a s/w engineer.
