Many thanks to all those who tried to help out! At this point it appears
that the Trading Recipes driver-installer program actually FRIED the Omega
plug. They're sending another.
Meanwhile I'm getting by with the laptop computer. This wouldn't work
either, except I'm running SafeSoft on this computer (no dongle needed).
For the record I should also point out that the Trading Recipes guy was
completely UNHELPFUL. He was actually happy that TS had died. Anyway he has
no clue about how the security block works.
Also, amid all the generous and helpful emails there was one note that was
distinctly unhelpful. I quote: "why didnt you just use the trading recipees
code i posted some time back on the omega list it had no lock?"
Note the lack of punctuation and spelling. What's the trip here?
