All my Tradestation charts recently started coming up with 5/06/179 as
their "last date", meaning that nothing charts until I go and change that
date.
It appears to me that this is a result somehow of new contracts being added
to the server for the year 2000. I remember that 4 years ago when I first
set things up I set the server to automatically add symbols 14 months out.
I went into the symbol universe and deleted all contracts for 2000, changed
the setting to 12 months, then ran "update symbol info." The result of
this is that the "last date" now reads 5/06/79 but when I try and change
this to 10/28/98 I get an "invalid date" error message - meaning I cannot
now load any charts!
Anyone got any ideas about how to fix this?
