protection fault

I crashed my windows98 this weekend and am not able to reinstall TS.  I get
protection fault in module isinst30.  I tried deleting all references to
Omega in the registry but that does not help.  I do use Partition Magic and
have no trouble with a new install on the new windows98 BUT would like to
install back to where it was on the old drive.  Any one ran into this before?
