If you haven't found anything yet, may I suggest a great little program that
I've been using for years called Stiletto at
http://www.inforamp.net/~crs2086/index.htm
It's shareware and is the best $22 I've ever spent! It is capable of doing
many things, but if all you want to do is start up some programs and close
them later on that can be done very simply with it's Alarm function. I have
it crank up about five programs each morning including email, browser,
LeoWeb, Excel, and Dimension 4 so they're all waiting on me when I sit down
at the computer. Give it a look and see if it's what you need.

I'm just a happy customer, no afilliation, kickback, yada yada yada.
