I use a program WMEM.EXE that was sent to me by Omega's tech-support
people. This subject has been discussed here before, but basically-- there
are about 7200 file selectors available in a pool after a clean boot of
Win-95. The TS Server uses roughly about 1000 selectors and charting uses
various numbers-- depending on how many work-spaces, how many charts,
indicators, systems, etc. that you're running. If the pool drops to below
1000, there is a danger of the system crashing-- and once the pool is
depleted, you're dead in the water. I try to keep the pool above 1000 at
all times, but if it drops, I can always relinquish some resources and the
system returns to normal.

If anyone wants a copy of the program, let me know -- if the response is
too high, I'll ask Jim-O if he'd be willing to post it to his FTP Site for
download.
