There's a vast, profitable industry out there. It's completely parasitic,
creating nothing of value (except big profits for the parties involved). In
the world at large the main effect is to create endless confusion and
uncertainty. It fans the flames of emotion. Worst of all, it perpetuates
the myth that the market can be predicted by "reasoning".
The distribution chain is extremely efficient. The product comes into our
homes 24 hours a day with CNBC, "business talk" radio, spam email, etc.,
and now the Omega List.
It's called the OPINION business and it's funded by small-time traders who
haven't yet learned the hard way. Hasn't anybody ever heard the story of
the Emperor's New Clothes?
