Hi,
As some of you know, I make my home in "suburban" Las Vegas. And as all of
you know, it gets HOT out during the summer (dry heat notwithstanding).
Well, its been a hot summer, and after church and watching our beloved
Packers win their first game today, my wife and I decided that the
cumulative heat from the summer had taken its toll and we decided to close
the drapes and crank up the A/C and do some reading and forget our planned
trip to the lake.
What does this have to do with trading? Well, I knew that Globex would be
trading tonight. So I fired up TS. A classic long signal developed using my
indicators (dare I say Bullseye? Nah). Went long at 985.50 with two
contracts. Market (at 811pm Pacific) trading at 990.50. Got an alert set at
988.50 to exit at this point.
Only reason for this post...just the fact that that the LV heat finally
paid off. If it would have been just in the 90's like yesterday, we would
have been at the lake. Just got tired of 100 degrees+... looked at the
screen, and will take some bucks to the bank.
Enjoy your Monday off, school starts Tuesday morning. Should be a very
interesting fall.
