After a suggestion by someone on the Omega List, Omega Research has
posted a revised procedure for correcting the bad date stamp from BMI

CORRECTING THE BAD BMI DATE STAMP THAT OCCURRED ON 08/26/98

If you received a bad date stamp from BMI on 8/26/98, please follow
the instructions below. If, for some reason, these instructions DO NOT
solve the problem, then please follow the alternate instructions, also
included below.

1.. Close all Omega Research applications.
2.. Start the Offline Data Server for BMI.
3.. Use the File_Delete menu sequence.
4.. Enter TOMORROW’S date (08/27/98) in the Start Date of Intraday
and enter 12/31/98 in the End Date, using mm/dd/yy format. Remove the
check from Daily.
5.. Click the Add All button.
    6.. Click OK.
7.. At the Delete Data? prompt, click YES.
8.. Exit the Offline Data Server for BMI.
9.. Check the computer clock in Windows, and make sure it reads
today’s current day and time.
10.. Start the (Online) Data Server for BMI.
11.. Open the symbol portfolio after initialization and pick a
symbol currently trading. Click on EDIT TICK. The last date shown at
the top should be today’s date.
12.. Close the EDIT TICK window and the symbol portfolio and start
SuperCharts RT/TradeStation. Verify the charts are correct and are
updating properly.
