Yes Mark, it is worthwhile, but I must confess that I rarely comment. Since
I only trade on one exchange (LIFFE), and then only traded options, all my
efforts are directed towards trying to figure out whether the underlying is
more likely to go up or down. I use SC to analyse price charts and invest in
UK shares for the longer term.

To help get a handle on things I save data on World indices, currencies and
the US Treasury Long Bond. I am not a big fan of canned indicators and
systems; viewing them as an interesting aside as opposed to generating
trading signals.

I am full of admiration for anyone who has consistently managed to extract
money from trading any market. Yes, the debate on this list is very
instructive.
