Wow. Wiping out entire branches of mathematics and university departments
in one blow.

Complex systems that may well be deterministic in a way that is not
disclosed to us may quite properly be described probabilistically. This is
indeed valid.

Because something is random and, therefore, described by some type of
probability distribution is not equivalent to saying it is unpredictable.
Probabilistic events described by random variables can be predicted
statistically (and are in everyday life).
