I've been running Ensign/DTN for day trading for several months now and I've
been using SC for EOD work for many years. The graphing, drawing and chart
management features in SC (same as TS) are more complete and easier to use,
however Ensign is adequate. The 16 bit software is incredibly stable and well
behaved under NT - no crashing, no resource hog, no CPU hog. Like everyone else,
they have a 32 bit package under development. Like TS/SC there are bugs,
especially with the drawing tools which I use extensively, but Ensign is much
better about fixing them - the support from Ensign is absolute top notch! The
ESPL language has proven adequate to do anything which I've needed to do. Ensign
does not currently meet all of my needs so I use both Ensign and SC, however the
fact that I can rent it for $30/month until the flood of new 32 bit software
hits is a major plus.
