Re: BMI Outage again - BMI response

Sooooo.

The implication here is that any particular data delay problem may be a
function of one or more of the following:

- confusion, focus, and/or typing problems at the exchange (nothing can
be done here except for electronic trading)
- data feed MODE (satellite/dish or cable)
- data feed VENDOR status (i.e., 'BMI' or 'FS' or etc.)==>> working
hypothesis? this is the most infrequent source of any problems
-    Satellite MODE status (if data feed mode = 'satellite/dish') e.g., ==>>
the satellite just went out of orbit
- Cable Channel Delivery MODE status (if data feed mode = 'cable'; e.g.,
choice = 'CSPAN' as below: some programmer at CSPAN made a minor production
system change regarding relative priority of data feeds moving across the
channel and screwed up your trade)

What logically possible sources of the problem aren't listed above?

If my working hypothesis is correct, then the optimal thing to do is NOT to
shop for a new data vendor but instead (1) diversify MODES or (2) focus on
the single most reliable MODE SETS.
